Morning
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi and drive to Arusha National Park. The journey from Arusha takes about 45 minutes, passing through scenic countryside.
After park registration, begin your morning game drive through lush montane forest where you may spot black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, giraffes, and buffalo.
Mid - day
Continue exploring the park toward the beautiful Ngurdoto Crater, often called the “Little Ngorongoro,” offering breathtaking views of the crater floor.
Later, visit the famous Momella Lakes, a series of alkaline lakes that attract flamingos and many other bird species. This area also offers stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru on clear days.
Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic picnic site inside the park while overlooking the beautiful savannah landscape. This is also a great opportunity to relax and take photos.
Afternoon
After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive through open plains where giraffes, zebras, warthogs, and antelopes are often seen grazing.
In the afternoon, exit the park and begin the drive back to Arusha or Moshi, arriving in the late afternoon.
