Trip Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrival — Arusha

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide from Frontline Safari Tanzania and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

DAY 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and abundant wildlife along the Tarangire River. Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch inside the park.

In the late afternoon, drive to the Karatu area for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

DAY 3

Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, journey toward Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy game viewing en route as you enter the vast Serengeti plains, home to extraordinary wildlife and dramatic landscapes.

Arrive at your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4

Full Day — Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring Serengeti National Park on morning and afternoon game drives. The park offers outstanding opportunities to see the Big Five along with cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras.

Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5

Maasai Cultural Visit & Crater Rim Walk

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. En route or upon arrival, enjoy a visit to a traditional Maasai village, where you will learn about local customs, traditions, and daily life of one of East Africa’s most iconic communities.

Later, experience a guided sunset walk along the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, offering breathtaking views into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

DAY 6

Ngorongoro Crater Safari

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. The crater hosts one of Africa’s highest concentrations of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, and the endangered black rhinoceros.

In the afternoon, ascend to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7

Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. The park is famous for its lush groundwater forest, large baboon troops, flamingos along the lake shore, and diverse birdlife, as well as its unique tree-climbing lions.

After the game drive, return to Arusha for hotel or airport drop-off, marking the end of your Safari and Cultural Visit with Frontline Safari Tanzania.
