Trip Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrival — Arusha

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide from Frontline Safari Tanzania and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge or explore the town at leisure. This day is reserved for rest and preparation before your safari adventure begins.

DAY 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and abundant wildlife along the Tarangire River. Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch inside the park, offering opportunities to see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a wide variety of birdlife.

In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge in the Karatu/Lake Manyara area for check-in, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 3

Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is famous for its lush groundwater forest, large troops of baboons, flamingos along the lake shore, and diverse bird species. Keep an eye out for the park’s unique tree-climbing lions.

Return to your lodge in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. This UNESCO World Heritage Site hosts one of the highest densities of wildlife in Africa, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, hyenas, and the endangered black rhinoceros.

In the afternoon, ascend to the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight at your lodge, surrounded by breathtaking scenery.

DAY 5

Ngorongoro Highlands – Arusha

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive back to Arusha, passing through the beautiful highland landscapes and local villages along the way. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or the airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your Comfort Safari Experience with Frontline Safari Tanzania.
